Cartrails: The Geoengineering/Mind Control Conspiracy Everyone is Ignoring

March 31st, 2025 by Roy W. Spencer, Ph. D.

While some among us continue to be distracted by supposed “chemtrails” high in the atmosphere, lurking right under our noses has been the ultimate conspiracy: Cartrails.

Modern cars are programmed to emit cartrails, containing nefarious and noxious chemicals. As many people can attest, breathing problems become worse in cities where these vehicles-emitting-deadly-vapour-trails are most concentrated.

This never happened many years ago; I know because my grandfather (who was born in the late 1800s) once told me they NEVER had cartrails back when he was a kid.

So, what kinds of chemicals are they poisoning us with? Well, many years ago it was lead in gasoline. But we found out about that conspiracy, which was meant to destroy the nervous systems of our children. So, what was lead replaced with?

That’s an interesting story. My confidential whistleblower (who must remain nameless for fear of retribution) tells me that the government people got together with the car manufacturing people and the petroleum refining people, and they found a NEW way to poison us: platinum, palladium and rhodium microparticles inside super-heated boxes innocuously called “catalytic converters”.

Do you know what palladium microparticles do to the human nervous system??

Well, neither do I. But I’m sure it isn’t good.

The opportunity to poison us with our own cars is SO much more efficient than “chemtrails”. First, the poisoning occurs right here at ground-level, where we breathe the air into our fragile lungs.

Secondly, the amount of fuel used by cars and trucks is many times that used by jet aircraft, thus increasing the human exposure.

Finally, the emissions are nearly invisible on most days. How sinister is that?? Invisible pollution!

And this is why they make jet aircraft emit so much water vapor (which produces cirrus clouds). It’s to keep people distracted with chemtrail theories so that we don’t realize the real threat is right under our noses: Cartrails. You heard it here first. Spread the word. Start a cartrail blog. Vent your fears and frustrations on social media. Go for it.

“lead in gasoline. But we found out about that conspiracy, which was meant to destroy the nervous systems of our children. So, what was lead replaced with?”

You mean lead isn’t harmful afterall??

    • Tim S says:

Do we have to explain everything to Nate? It is a satirical posting using irony, sarcasm, and subtle humor. Tetraethyl lead was introduced in the 1920s to increase octane. It was never a conspiracy to poison children. Higher octane increases engine efficiency to allow higher compression ratios and hotter combustion. It is still in use, but being phased out of aviation gasoline. Military purple gasoline is loaded with lead at 120 octane.

After it was found to be harmful, it was removed, but that was not an easy task. The alkylation process was already in use to produce iso-octane, which is where the term octane originates. It has by definition an octane rating of 100. It works really well to blend with raw gasoline (naptha), but there is not enough.

The answer is reforming. How many remember when Shell introduced Platformate? The reforming process produces reformate, which is benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and mixed xylenes. Talk about toxic chemicals. This is why gasoline has an aromatic odor and why it is not healthy to breathe the fumes. There is also the less common isomerization process which produces branched hydrocarbons from linear molecules, that also increases octane rating.

The other problem is that the most useful chemical in reformate, benzene, was later found to cause Leukemia. That problem was solved by the current process of distilling out the benzene and saturating it to cyclohexane which also has a good octane rating.

There are no conspiracies here. As medical science makes new discoveries, regulations are introduced and the product is modified to make it safer — not complete safe, just safer.

    • Steve Myers says:

He acknowledges that lead is harmful (it destroys the nervous systems of our children). What is of more significance is that he describes it as a conspiracy (it “was MEANT to destroy”).

One interpretation of this is that his failure to consider whether it was a cock-up (the proverbial alternative to conspiracy theory) and weigh up the evidence is itself evidence of conspiracy-theory thinking.

Another interpretation is that his comment is satirical, playing into conspiracy theory thinking. I suspect this is more likely, because most of what he writes is very rational (even though, in my view, it is wrong).

“It was never a conspiracy to poison children”

      Nor did I suggest that.

I was able to discern that part was sarcasm

    Happy April Fools day!

  3. Brilliant – thank you. You could have parlayed into a different take if you had posted it tomorrow

This post appropriately appeared one day later in Australia than it’s publishing date shows.

  6. Didn’t you post this a day early?

Chemtrails, cartrails. How long do you think it takes air to get from one end of the Earth to the other? They both would get blown right off the edge in less than 5 years. They just can’t keep the concentration high enough in that time span, except maybe in locally dense areas. That may explain what’s going on in Los Angeles. The only way they can implement a nationawide chemical control strategy is by interceding soon before consumption, such as with municipal water or the food supply. Simple Ratio and Dispersion Laws make everything else futile.

  8. Rob Mitchell says:

Thanks for the April Fools day joke Dr. Spencer. It made my day, especially after seeing all of the Teslas getting keyed and torched last month.

MANY years ago, I posted a piece on the old BBC forums (where it was so easy to wind people up!) about Dihydrogen Monoxide. I said that despite my global warming scepticism, one thing that did indeed trouble me was Dihydrogen Monoxide. Using the data for swimmers drowned that year, I was even able to provide a figure for deaths. Within minutes, I had hooked some of the ignorant warmists.

Sometimes, you just have to make your own fun.

I was up all night, sobbing at your comment. You’ve exposed me for what I am, and I am belittled.
        Or…
You could find it on the waybackmachine. My BBC name in those days was ‘Harry Grocott’. To narrow it down, it would have been 2004 or 2005. Admittedly, it might take an hour of research, but since you have nothing else to do while in your bedroom (in your mum’s house), why not?

        Have a great life.

      • Gee Aye says:

Wow, warmists in 2005! You were a trail blazer.

Also, grow up. In your made up scenario, you hooked a tiny number of people with a comment that makes no difference to anything. And, unknown to you were the soon to be deniers who made no comment but nodded in agreement.

In other news, today President Trump announced the formation of a “Climate Change Acceleration” task force. Speaking from the White House, he remarked “people keep telling me that climate change is real and already happening. I like warm weather, doesn’t everyone? China has three times the carbon emissions of the United States. I do not want to be second to China in anything. That is why I want to increase our carbon emissions as much as possible. Nobody has ever seen anything like it.”

Thank you to 31 states in USA for joining Mexico and banning chemtrails . ( geo engineering).

    Well done, Dr. Spencer!

    My philosophy is this:

    1) Reasonable people should be reasoned with.
    2) Unreasonable people should be ignored.
    3) Unreasonable people who refuse to be ignored should be mocked.

I remember the Dihydrogen Monoxide joke! As with this article it caught me off guard at first! Dr. Spencer you have a keen sense of humor! thanks for the jokes!
